Immune Boosting Powders

(by Mario Fabbri, TV Host, Trying Vegan with Mario)

Immune Boosters are an excellent way to make sure you get plenty of nutrition. They’re easy to make and only take two steps; first dehydrate your favorite super foods, then blend them into a powder.

Superfood powders are nothing new; but you may have never realized that you can easily make them yourself. Beet powder is used in lots of sport supplements and pre-workouts because it’s been shown to increase the oxygen capacity of your blood cells which can help you exercise longer. Super Green powders are very popular because they pack your daily dose of vegetable down into just a few spoons full.

These immune boosters also add a pleasant flavor and can taste great in soups, salads, smoothies and on top of oats. Below I included three of my favorite recipes, but I encourage you to get creative and try new things.
